Introducing Les an 18 month old lurcher who came to the Centre as a stray. We sadly see strays a lot of the time, many of which get reunited to their grateful owners whilst some don’t but go on for rehoming. Les’s story is a little sadder in that, whilst he came in as a ‘stray’, a member of public witnessed a car driving down a rural lane and simply opening the door and releasing him. We do not have any more information and no way of tracing the details but he was simply released to fend for himself in an area where he wouldn’t have been found easily if it wasn’t for the kind hearted people who managed to catch him and get him to safety. Now that we KNOW him as well as we do, we find this such a sad event but thankfully happier times are now ahead. This is where we need the help of our supporters in finding his happy ending.

Les would not suitable to live with cats or small furries but could possibly live with other dogs and will need someone at home during the day due to a lack of history. Les would suit older children as he is far too exuberant for his own good. If you like long legged lurcher loveliness and have a space in your home for him, it would be amazing for them to know a better happier life. Please give the team a call on 01637 872976 for a chat.
