Hi everyone, Jasper here! Today is a very special day for me because not only is it National Puppy Day, but it also is the day that I get to introduce myself and find a special home 🐾
I am a 7 month old Cocker Spaniel x Poodle, so I am only a baby really. I still have lots to learn about the world and whilst I have met other dogs I don't always know how act around them. Sometimes I am shy and hide away, and others I get very excited and overwhelm the other dog. They say practice makes perfect, so hopefully there is a home out there to help show me the ropes.
The team here have been helping me to deal with something that they call my 'quirks' and have assured me that they will find a home that understands me. You see I become protective around things that I feel are special to me, such as food and toys. I am learning that I don't have worry that my 'special things' will be taken from me, but I may always be cautious.
Because of my 'quirks' I need experienced adult doggy owners who have time to help me build my confidence and feel safe. Whilst I can come across as a bit silly and goofy I have a nervous side which I often try to hide 💖
So with all of this in mind, my perfect home would be.....
🐾 Experienced adult only home
🐾 At home a lot
🐾 Preferably as only dog, but the team can discuss this
🐾 With a secure garden
🐾 Happy to continue my training, with some advice from the team
I have been told that I will be very popular, so if you would like to offer me a home please click here to find out more 👉 stfrancisnewquay.org.uk/our-dogs/jasper/ or call the team on 01637872976.
Did you know that research shows that brindle dogs often take longer to rehome than dogs with other colourings? In Tallulah's case this seems to be sadly true, as she has been waiting over 200 days to find her forever home 😥
Whilst Tallulah needs a specific home, she is a beautiful girl who is also full of charm and character once you gain her trust 💖
