A HUGE thank you to the team at Beautiful Joe's Ethical Dog Treats who have once again kindly donated 2 large bags of treats for the dogs in our care. Our dogs really love them and they really help with training so thank you all once again for supporting St Francis. 🐾
Also an even bigger THANK YOU to all of our supporters who kindly responded to our plea for tins of Chappie last week. From various sources we have received over 270 tins and we are grateful to each of you who donated to help us out. 💖
We have let Flash know and he is a very happy pup too. 😉 From all of the team and of course the dogs, thank you to everyone.
My name is Spencer and I am a 5 year old chap, probably a Rhodesian Ridgeback cross but nobody knows for sure.
I am looking for a new home that is used to larger dogs like me and can understand that I am basically a big baby who loves cuddles and love just like the little dogs do.
I would be best suited to an adult only home where I am the only pet (female companion dogs already existing would be considered) but aside from that, my new owners need to understand that some situations worry me. The team will tell you all about what those are.
I love other dogs when I am out and about, its just sharing in my own home that might cause me a problem. Play friends out and about on walkies would be nice.
I would like a rural type of home if possible where I don't have to be everyone's friend if I don't feel like it but I will need a secure garden space at my new home wherever that may be.
The team here say that I love love LOVE my cuddles, I love my treats, I love my walks but sometimes I can be a little shy and take time to get to know new people.
I am a gentle giant who needs patient understanding owners who can handle a bigger guy like me. If you think that might be you then please apply for me. The people here are ok but they are not the same as a mum or dad of my own. https://www.stfrancisnewquay.org.uk/our-dogs/spencer/
