Rebuild Update – We Have Super Exciting News!
We can now reveal that after a robust tendering process (which included a local architect on the panel), we have appointed Veterinary Architects, who are the foremost animal welfare architects in the UK to design the new state of the art Centre for St Francis Dogs Home. Jonathan Clark who founded the company understands the importance of ensuring the new design enables St Francis to continue its important work, by putting animal welfare at the heart of what we do. Jonathan comments “Having carried out a large number of animal welfare and veterinary projects across the country over the last eight years, the rebuild of St. Francis Dogs Home rates as one of the most exciting projects we have won to date.”

“Design works are now fully underway and we are thrilled to be working with such a wonderful organisation in this unique rural location so close to Porth Beach.” Jonathan has worked on countless projects within the animal welfare sector, including a current project with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home where they are totally refurbishing its London site to provide 120 kennels. Check out Jonathan on one of Cornwall’s beautiful beaches with his Battersea rescue dog, Spring, below.
Plus we’ve just welcomed a new Trustee to our Board who will bring expansive expertise to the Charity as we move through to the next phase of our plans. We wanted to introduce you to Anthony Kinder, who has joined our Board of Trustees as Honorary Treasurer. As a Chartered Accountant and owner of three gorgeous dogs, (Jasmine, Arthur and Indie) Anthony joins us at an exciting stage of our development plans. His experience and expertise will help support us throughout the rebuild and beyond. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates very soon, as we progress to the next stage of our journey!
