Vicky’s fond farewell
Trustees, Staff and Volunteers recently said their farewells to Vicky Raby, St Francis longest serving member of Staff.
Vicky started at St Francis nearly 15 years ago when she was in her second year of college as a work experience placement.
A year later Vicky was offered a full time job. Vicky’s first dogs were 2 Siberian Huskies who she adopted from St Francis!
Over the years Vicky has had 9 huskies and 4 springer spaniels. Vicky currently owns 6 huskies and 3 springers.
Vicky completed her 2nd grade with the British Institute of National Dog Trainers whilst at St Francis and regularly ran puppy training classes at St Francis.
Vicky said “ I have loved working at St Francis with the variety of dogs and I’ve met so many lovely people and made some great friends too”.

Vicky has made such an important contribution to St Francis over the years and we will certainly miss her experience and expertise. We all wish Vicky lots of luck for the future, Vicky will always be part of the St Francis family and we hope she will visit the Centre and catch up with us all whenever she can”.
