Flash is a large 3 year old crossbreed. We have been advised that he is Mastiff mixed with Deerhound and probably something else in there too. But he is a big strong lad.
He was brought into the centre for rehoming due to a relationship split in the home but his owners ill health means that he has not been walked for at least a year. He has not seen much of the world at all but he is slowly learning.
Flash lacks in confidence in a lot of situations so his new owner needs to be calm and patient and be prepared that he is basically a big baby who needs looking after and showing the world at a slow and steady pace that he can cope with.
He has no experience of children and is not suitable to live with cats but may be able to live with a steady dog friend, this might help him but is not essential. He will also need someone at home a lot of the time as he doesn’t know how to cope when left home alone just yet.
Anyone interested in offering Flash a new home needs to be strong enough to walk him too. He’s a big lad who sometimes needs a little reassurance when he is out but is learning all the time and doing so very well. He needs a new owner who will carry on the work we have started. In return you will have a rather LARGE lap dog who smothers you in kisses.
