Mya

Mya is a 3 year old crossbreed.  She is a combination of Collie, German Shepherd, Husky and Rottweiler.  A real mixture.

Mya arrived at the centre with very poorly ears so it has taken some time to get these better and she is now ready to meet her new potential owner.  It is not anticipated that her ears will be an ongoing problem but a new owner will just need to keep an eye on them and pop her to the vets if she has future flare ups.  She has responded well to medication.

She can be quite a sensitive lady when meeting new people but will make friends easily if people are calm with her.  She would best suit a quiet yet active home with older children who won’t overwhelm her but once she loves her family, she really is a gentle sweetheart.

With the right dog, she could live as a companion to another dog but she is not suitable with cats.  She will need a new owner who doesn’t have to leave her home alone much and who has a nive secure garden for her ongoing training needs.

Mya has taken some time to settle and show us who she really is but underneath those initial nerves, she is a real sweetheart.
