Rosa
We are looking for a very special someone to volunteer to help us with Rosa.
Rosa is originally a foriegn rescue and a “flock guardian” breed type.
She’s a big girl weighing in at 67kg!
Rosas owner is in hospital and will need regular carers but although Rosa is loving and affectionate towards the people she knows, her instinct is to protect her home and owner.
This means that Rosas owner can no longer have her at home as she needs regular carers
and health practioners visiting so Rosa needs a new home.
Anyone hoping to adopt or foster Rosa would need a child and dog free home and would need to be guided by our team in getting to know Rosa.
Ideally we would like to find someone who could walk with her and her owners daughter so Rosa can learn to trust someone new & bond with them at her pace.
As Rosa is a big dog, potential adopters or fosterers would need a car that can fit her in and be physically strong enough to hold her.
She hasn’t been exercised/socialised as much as she ideally needs due to her owner being unwell.
If you know anyone with experience of livestock/flock guardian breeds then please ask them to get in touch
