Finally I am ready to meet my public!
My name is Tiny and I am a Mastiff, unfortunately due to arriving as a stray very little is known about my history. Despite my aging appearance I am supposed to be around 9yrs old. As some of you will know I have been in the vets recently for some tests and X-rays. Luckily for me my hips are fine, which is always good for a big lad like me! The vets believe I may have Lumbosacral disease, which is degeneration of the lumbosacral junction and/or compression of the associated nerves. Our vets have advised this can be medically managed with anti-inflammatories and joint supplements, sadly medicated baths for my skin will also be required.
I have been friendly with all of the staff and volunteers, in fact I adore everyone, I’m quite the social butterfly! I really adore affection and interaction with people. A very nice lady has been coming to visit me at the centre giving me Myotherapy, I have loved these sessions!
My best friend on site is Kai a Collie, I play very nicely with him chasing toys (and him but he is a little too quick for me…. ) I must admit I am not a fan of small dogs, that is something you may need to be aware of.
I would love an adult home (Older teenagers is fine), someone that is willing to go on long walks but not cover much ground (I’m a sniffer and plodder!)
I’m big, beautiful and ready for my new home <3
